The Brazilian supermodel denied cheating on Tom Brady.
Gisele Bündchen was seen very much in love with her new boyfriend, Joaquim Valente, days after denying that she was having an affair with him while still married to Tom Brady. The former Victoria’s Secret model, 43, visited her new property in Miami on Saturday, which is currently under construction, reported Page Six.
The Brazilian supermodel was seen with her 36-year-old jiu-jitsu instructor, who walked alongside her as they exited the construction site. Bündchen wore casual clothing, sporting a pair of loose jeans and a beige button-up shirt tucked in. She slung a worn YSL bag over her shoulder and wore a pair of brown flip-flops. Gisele, mother of two children she shares with Brady, 14-year-old Benjamin and 11-year-old Vivian, tied her hair back in a loose bun and appeared to be makeup-free for the visit to their future home.
In an interview with The New York Times, Bündchen was asked if she began dating Valente before her divorce in October 2022 with Tom Brady, a seven-time Super Bowl champion.”That’s a lie,” she said firmly. “This is something that happens to many women, who are blamed for having the courage to leave a toxic relationship and are labeled as unfaithful. They have to deal with their communities. They have to deal with their family. Of course, for me, it happens to be a bit amplified,” added the Brazilian. “No one really knows what happens between two people, only the two people in the relationship.”
Gisele and Joaquim, deeply in love
The new couple met in December 2021 but didn’t start dating until mid-2023, according to reports. In February 2024, a source close to the couple confirmed to Page Six that they were “deeply in love.”
Bündchen hasn’t always been as open about her romance with the jiu-jitsu expert, and just last year she put an end to speculation about dating during an interview with Vanity Fair.
“He is our teacher, and most importantly, he is someone I admire and trust,” she said in March 2023. “It’s very good to have that kind of energy, to have my children around that kind of energy.”
